Peter (Pitambar Sapkota) culinary career started at age 20. Over the years, he traveled across the India, Nepal, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand and Australia prefecture to hone his skills as a Indian chef. Eventually, he started his own restaurant in 2010 in Beaumaris, which quickly rose to fame and it is a locals favorite restaurant for dine in, take away or have drink.

Now the founder of Saffron, Chef Peter’s mission is to introduce Mordialloc to a more traditional and seasonal take on Indian and Nepalese cuisine.
